Report: Sean Connery has Alzheimer’s disease

Famed movie star and former James Bond actor Sean Connery reportedly has Alzheimer’s disease, this according to a German newspaper.  Reportedly British actor Sir Michael Caine relayed to German paper Bild, through NDJ, that Connery has been stricken with the disease and it is so bad he states that “we should really be concerned”.

According to reports Connery now carries his wife’s name – Micheline Roquebrune – and phone number in his pockets at all times in the event that he gets lost, which he’s been prone to do allegedly.

Caine and Connery have been close friends since the 70’s when they first starred in the film The Man Who Should Be King together.  Connery just celebrated his 83rd birthday Sunday.

Connery retired from acting in 2003 with his last physical role being in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
