Is ’24’ heading back to Fox?

Posted: May 10, 2013 in Television

Earlier today Fox announced that it had cancelled the sci-fi drama series Touch starring Keifer Sutherland after two seasons, and miraculously as if Manna from heaven fell from the sky, rumors also began to surface that Sutherland was negotiating with Fox to reprise his hit political action show 24 in a limited run.

According to Deadline Sutherland is in talks to reprise his role of everyone’s famous kickass government hitman Jack Bauer with Howard Gordon to be executive producer.  Gordon is currently the executive producer on another hit political action/drama Showtime’s Homeland.  According to the site’s report, Gordon pitched a brand new 24 story arc to Fox and they loved it.  No deals are currently in place but this could point to why Touch was cancelled and rumors instantly began swirling concerning Sutherland.

Where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire.

24 was last seen in 2010.

I’ll keep you posted!
