We’ll we’ve made it to the top two.  This list was full of surprises, both for me writing it and probably for you as the reader as well.  It’s a list that I enjoyed doing and I hoped you all enjoyed reading it as well.

One of my personal favorites from this list makes it in at number two, How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  The film is so wonderfully done and it’s fantastically acted as well.  There’s more emotion and heart in this one Christmas film then fifty other Christmas films combined.  The fantastic job the producers on this movie did with Jim Carrey’s makup is otherworldly, but the real winner here is Ron Howard.  Howard (A Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man) takes Carrey and completely captures the essence of what a Dr. Seuss book really is and what the Grinch would actually be like in real life.

I’ve always wanted a sequel to How the Grinch Stole Christmas but I also realize that a follow up title would diminish the greatness that is the original, plus Carrey is like 10 years older, so.

Either way, if you haven’t watched this one yet this Christmas season you’re not living.
