When you talk about holiday films there is one that always comes up and it goes by the title of Home Alone.  The movie that made Macaulay Culkin a child star and a film synonymous with Christmas.

It was a film that made us relive the true feeling of Christmas and it preaches the appreciation of family during the holidays.  However the true stars of the film are Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the burglars who take on little Kevin McCallister in a battle for the family house.

It’s one of John Hughes finest directorial performances because he doesn’t once worry about establishing character but instead focuses on the fun and wild feeling of this 10 year old boy setting house traps for these burglars.

You haven’t lived until you’ve seen Home Alone during Christmas time.
