Surprise!  Not many people take Richard Curtis’ multi-plot Christmas story – Love Actually – seriously this time of year because it’s an R-rated rom-com, but here in my house, we take it very seriously.

What’s not to love about a Hugh Grant/Liam Neeson/Emma Thompson/Bill Nighy/Colin Firth/Martin Freeman/Keira Knightley/Andrew Lincoln love story?  Especially during Christmas time.  It’s a pretty flawless film that inspired the likes of Valentines Day and New Years Eve, but none of those films capture the intimacy that Love Actually has.

Sure, it’s an unconventional holiday film and you’re not going to see this one on ABC Family’s “25 days of Christmas” but you’d be hard pressed to find a more complete holiday film with this kind of acting.
