Tarantino Is Back With ‘Django Unchained’

Posted: June 7, 2012 in Movies

Ever since Will Smith pulled his hat from the ring for consideration to play “Django” in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, I almost stopped caring about who was going to be in it.  Then I remembered how big of fan I am of Tarantino’s and how great Inglorious Basterds was.  So naturally, I started giving fucks again.

I’m glad I did too!  Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, and a whole slew of other people that Tarantino will mold for his masterpiece.  The movie is about a slave-turned-bounty-hunter (Foxx) and his mentor (Waltz) trying to track down his wife (Washington) who has been kidnapped by a plantation owner (DiCaprio).  My description probably doesn’t do it much justice but you can be sure that when the movie is released in December it becomes instant Oscar candy.

The first trailer for the film was released today, and I’ll be the first (or maybe the second) person to say it…MUST HAVE THIS NOW!
